Clean subsoil for raising low spots, building up pads and backfilling.
Fill dirt is subsoil with little organic matter, so it settles predictably and doesn't rot away. Use it to raise grade where water collects, to backfill around foundations and pools, or to build a pad before construction. It is not meant for growing — top it with topsoil if grass or plants will go on it.
Good for
- Raising low areas
- Backfill around foundations and pools
- Building pads
- Filling holes and trenches
